Certified Holistic (Night)Life Coach

Eline Van Audenaerde

Who the hell am I?
I’m the captain of The Unicorn Mothership, a holistic (night)life coach and speaker. I’ve been in music since I was 15 - starting out as a shy singer in a metal band and going clubbing on the weekends to escape my abusive home. Doing this helped me cope with some pretty deep shit. Until I lost my mind, quite literally. Therapy saved me and life coaching healed my mind.

And now, I get to help driven producers and DJs to feel confident about their next steps so that they can move the needle in dance music.

The mission of my company is to help shape the dance music community into a healthy, inclusive and positive environment for everyone who’s looking to build a life around their passion for electronic music.

My background:

  • +20years in the music industry in a variety of professional roles
  • Certified as a holistic life coach in personal and transpersonal coaching
  • degree in Eastern Languages & Cultures with a minor in Cultural Anthropology and Hinduism
  • Well-versed in Witchcraft and an ongoing student of A Course In Miracles

I am also a published co-author of the research paper "Performers of the night: Examining the mental health of electronic music artists", published in the Journal for Psychology of Music (January 2021) and I contributed to Chapter 4 of the Global Nighttime Recovery Plan, "Sustaining Our Nightlife Scenes", which looks at case studies from around the world that focus on support models for nightlife industry workers and vulnerable populations.

I'm a little obsessed with true crime & murder documentaries and sci-fi. I love talking to animals, I have a heightened sense of smell and cannot go a day without wearing nail polish.
